so here we have brodie donovan, a 'tough as nails' twenty three year old fuck up. he's now in rehab on rubys island and moved here all the way from new york, in hopes of getting clean and starting anew. before he went into rehab though, brodie's life was quite trying and hard on him. his father was an abusive alcoholic and his mother ran out on him at the young age of seven, leaving him to deal with his crazed father. so he was toughened up and quite angry at the world by the time he hit his teens, doing whatever he could to rebel against any sort of authority or law. he's still a little troubled over his past and is becoming what his father is, which scares the hell out of him. and that's why he's here. he'd probably only have a few friends because some people wouldn't warm up to his roughened personality, however he has a decent sense of humor and he loves nothing more than to let loose and have fun. brodie would have plenty of enemies because he doesn't take shit from anyone and if you rub him the wrong way, he won't hesitate to let you know. love is difficult for him to grasp, since he was never really shown love all through his life. basically the only sort of 'love' he's used to is anything that has no strings attached, such as friends with benefits, one night stands, flings, etc. but if he was in a relationship and really liked the person he was with, he would try his best not to mess things up. anyway that's it, so plot with him.
