ECLAN HARLOW ASTAIRE. nineteen. fragile. suicide. stage two.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify][/size] this here is declan. he's nineteen years old and was born and raised in new york city. he was raised by a single mother, his father having run out when he was only three years old. he has an older brother and an older sister. all his life he had suffered from depression and anxiety, even from the young age of eight years old. as he got older this only got worse because he never seeked help. his mother knew nothing about it because he always kept his feelings hidden and bottled up. it only got worse when he was constantly bullied and teased for liking not only girls but boys as well. yes, he's bisexual. this resulted in these three boys, constantly harassing him until one of those boys ended up forcing himself on declan and raping him. declan being the secretive boy he was kept it hidden, ashamed, but this only made declan's depression worse and at sixteen he slit his wrists. his mother was the one who found him that time and he was saved. his suicide attempts continued through the years, every anniversary of the night he was raped. seventeen it was pills, eighteen it was carbon monoxide, and the last one was when he attempted to drown himself. this was the last straw and his mother and the hospital had him admitted to the rehabilitation center on ruby's island against his will. he's not just trying to better himself, having accepted he has problems. he's very sweet, affectionate and caring but one of the most shy, timid and introvert people you could meet. he's socially awkward and quiet, fragile, emotional and sensitive. he needs it all though, friends and lovers. he wont have many enemies though. plot away!

i think him and my harper would get a long. shes fragile and
sweet. here for a eating disorder, suicide watch. i think they
could be like best friends. there for one another, good listeners.
he could tell her about being rape and all that and she'll
listen.
